Frequently asked questions.

Click Add to Discord on the home page. You'll be redirected to Discord's authorization screen — pick your server, confirm the permissions, and click Authorize. The bot joins your server immediately. You can then open the dashboard to configure every feature. The whole flow takes under a minute.

By default the invite requests Administrator so every feature works without extra setup. If you prefer narrower permissions, the minimum recommended set is:
• Manage Roles, Manage Channels, Manage Messages
• Kick Members, Ban Members, Moderate Members
• Read Message History, Send Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files
• Connect, Speak, Use Voice Activity
Note that some features (anti-nuke, auto-roles above the bot's highest role) require the bot's role to be placed above the roles it needs to manage.

Yes. All core features — moderation, leveling, music, tickets, custom voice, anti-nuke and the full web dashboard — are free forever. An optional premium tier adds extras like high-definition music, longer queues, custom rank cards and priority support. You can run a large server entirely on the free plan.

No. Every feature is configurable from the web dashboard with dropdowns, toggles and live previews. You never need to memorize a single slash command. Commands remain available for power users and moderators who prefer the keyboard.

The default prefix is , — so commands look like ,ban or ,rank. Change it any time with ,prefix set ! (any symbol works). Statistics commands can optionally run under their own separate prefix so they never collide with other bots — configurable in the dashboard.

The commands page lists all 382 commands with usage, examples, aliases and required permissions, grouped by category and searchable. Detailed guides for every module live in the docs.

Work through this list:
• Prefix — did someone change it? Mention the bot or check the dashboard.
• Channel permissions — the bot needs View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links in that channel.
• Disabled command — it may be turned off; check ,enable (command) or the Commands tab in the dashboard.
• Role restriction — the command may be limited to certain roles via ,allow.
• Statistics commands may run under their own prefix.

On purpose. Messages where the character after the prefix isn’t a letter or number — German quotes typed as ,,word", a comma followed by a space, ,,, and similar — are treated as normal chat, not failed commands. This keeps the bot from interrupting conversations with "command not found" errors.

Yes — every single command has its own toggle. In chat: ,disable (command) and ,enable (command). On the dashboard: the Commands tab lets you toggle commands one by one, per category, or all at once. Disabled commands are silently ignored.

Yes. ,allow (command) (@role) limits a command to that role; ,disallow removes the restriction. Great for keeping ,purge or ,role staff-only while everyone can use ,rank.

Most do. Examples: ,p for play, ,np for nowplaying, ,lvl/,xp for rank, ,tx for transaction, ,bal for balance, ,tr for temprole. Every alias is listed on the command’s card on the commands page.

The bot suggests the closest match — type ,bann and it shows the ,ban card with syntax and an example. If you’d rather have no error replies at all, enable suppress errors in the dashboard.

Some commands are dispatchers with powerful subcommands: ,role has (role) add (role2) bulk-edits everyone with a role, ,purge links 20 deletes only messages containing links. Each subcommand appears as its own card on the commands page and has its own dashboard toggle.

Members earn XP for sending messages (with an anti-spam cooldown). You can configure: XP per message, XP per minute in voice, per-channel multipliers, no-XP channels and no-XP roles. Role rewards are granted automatically at any level you set. The public leaderboard is available at babes.bot and inside Discord with ,levels — and every member checks their own progress with ,rank.

Custom voice creates a personal voice channel for each member the moment they join a designated lobby channel. The owner can rename the channel, set user limits, lock it to specific users, kick someone out, or transfer ownership. When the channel becomes empty, it's auto-deleted — your voice section never clutters up.

Yes. babes includes a full music player with queue, loop (track / queue), shuffle, volume, audio filters (bassboost, nightcore, 8D, vaporwave) and lyrics. It's powered by Lavalink for low-latency, high-quality audio. Sources: YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Twitch.

Set up one or more ticket panels with categories (e.g. Support, Billing, Report). When a user clicks a category button, the bot creates a private channel between them and your support team. Features include: claim & assign, transcripts saved to the dashboard, close with optional user rating, per-category ping roles and limits.

Yes. Giveaways support: timed duration, winner count, role requirements, level requirements, bonus entries for specific roles, auto-reroll and manual reroll. Giveaways are created with one command or from the dashboard.

Welcome, goodbye and join-DM messages support {user} (mention), {username}, {server} and {membercount} — plus full embeds built with the visual embed creator in the dashboard. Auto roles for new members (and bots separately) are configured in the same tab.

Sticky messages stay pinned to the bottom of one channel — the bot reposts them after new messages (rules reminders, active giveaways). Auto messages are sent on a schedule — every N hours or at fixed times (announcements, bump reminders). Both support embeds.

Yes — the auto responder: ,autoresponder add hello Hey there!. Perfect for FAQ triggers like "how do I verify". Manage entries with add, remove and list, or from the dashboard.

Set role rewards at any level (level 5 → Active, level 20 → Veteran). With stacking on, members keep every reward role; with stacking off, only the highest applies. Manage XP manually with ,givexp and ,removexp.

Yes — the ,rank card is a clean MEE6-style design and supports a custom background image per server. With Advanced Leveling enabled you get an interactive level menu instead of the static card.

,247 set #channel (song or playlist) keeps the bot in a voice channel around the clock, replaying your configured track — lofi radios, community soundtracks. Aliases: ,24-7, ,nonstop. The now-playing message has buttons for pause, skip, loop and volume.

Moderators can: ,snipe shows the last deleted message in a channel, ,editsnipe the last edit (before/after), ,reactionsnipe the last removed reaction. Snipes are short-lived; for permanent records use the logging module.

Yes. Welcome messages use a full embed builder with variables like {user}, {user.tag}, {server.name}, {memberCount}. Rank cards can be customized with accent color, background color and badges on the free plan. Premium users unlock custom rank card art and custom welcome banners.

Yes. Auto-mod rules include: duplicate messages, excessive mentions, excessive caps, Discord invite links, URL whitelist, custom word blocklist, fast-typing detection. Each rule has its own punishment (warn → timeout → kick → ban) and can be toggled independently. Moderators and trusted roles can be whitelisted.

Anti-nuke watches for dangerous mass actions: mass ban, mass kick, mass role deletion, mass channel deletion, mass webhook creation. If an admin exceeds your configured threshold in a short window, the bot automatically removes their dangerous permissions and alerts you. You can whitelist trusted admins (e.g. yourself) so they're never affected.

,softban bans and instantly unbans — it purges the member’s recent messages without keeping them banned. ,hardban is the opposite extreme: the ban re-applies itself if anyone tries to lift it, until you remove the hardban. Regular ,ban, ,kick, ,mute, ,timeout and ,warn round out the toolkit.

13 modules: mass ban, kick, role create/delete, channel create/delete, webhook creation, emoji deletion, bot add, prune, voice disconnect, timeout abuse and two dangerous-role watchers. Each is enabled individually: ,antinuke ban on --threshold 3 --do ban --command on. Full guide in the antinuke docs.

Three, chosen per module with --do: ban, kick or clear_roles (strip every dangerous role but keep the member). --threshold N sets how many actions trigger it, and --command on also counts actions done through bot commands.

,antinuke whitelist @user exempts someone entirely (also per module: ,antinuke whitelist @user ban). ,antinuke admin @user — owner only — lets someone configure the antinuke. ,antinuke admins and ,antinuke list show who has what; ,antinuke config shows the whole setup.

The antinuke watches roles that gain dangerous permissions — administrator, ban/kick members, manage roles/channels/webhooks and more, including the voice-moderation set (mute_members, deafen_members, move_members). Manage the watched set with ,antinuke permissions grant/remove (perm).

Anti raid watches joins — when a wave of accounts floods in, it kicks/bans the wave or locks the server. Antinuke watches staff actions — mass bans, channel deletions, dangerous role grants by people already inside. The join gate (,joingate days 7) adds account-age filtering. Use all three together.

,checkperms audits every role for dangerous permissions — including channel-level overrides most people forget. ,checkbots lists every bot with its permissions. ,recentban shows the latest bans at a glance.

Any coin CoinGecko knows — thousands. ,crypto solana shows live price, market cap, daily change and daily high/low; add a currency like ,crypto bitcoin eur (20+ fiat currencies). Aliases: ,coin, ,price.

17 networks, auto-detected from the hash alone: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, Fantom, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Zcash, Groestlcoin, Solana and XRP. The result links the right block explorer and shows confirmations, value, fee, sender, receiver and timestamp. Alias: ,tx.

Paste a transaction hash and the bot watches it on whichever network it lives on — you get pinged in the channel at its first confirmation. Checks run every 45 seconds for up to 12 hours; up to 3 watched transactions per user.

Current Ethereum gas in three tiers — Slow / Normal / Fast — each in gwei plus the estimated USD cost of a plain transfer, sourced live from the network’s fee history.

Not necessarily. The bot distinguishes two cases: if the blockchain services were unreachable (rate limits, outages), it tells you explicitly that your hash was not checked — just retry in a minute. Only when a network actually answered "unknown hash" does it report not-found. Brand-new transactions can also need a moment to propagate.

Buy it on the premium page, then run ,premium claim in the server it should apply to. Check any time with ,premium status and ,premium days. Premium is also shown at the top of the dashboard sidebar.

With premium, yes: ,customize avatar, ,customize banner and ,customize bio give the bot a per-server identity (image URL or attachment). ,customize reset restores the defaults. Changes only affect your server.

Nothing is deleted. Premium-only settings are kept and simply pause until premium is active again — reclaim it and everything works exactly as before, no reconfiguration needed.

Yes. babes stores only the minimum data required to operate: server settings, XP totals, warnings, ticket transcripts. Message content is never logged unless you explicitly enable the message logging feature yourself. You can request a full data export or deletion at any time via the dashboard. Yes. babes includes anti-nuke protection, detailed audit logs and granular permission controls. You stay in full control — whitelist trusted admins, set your own thresholds, and revoke the bot's permissions at any moment. The bot's source has undergone security review and all infrastructure uses encrypted connections.

babes runs on redundant infrastructure with 99.9%+ uptime. Brief outages can happen during deployments. No data is lost — all settings, XP, warnings and tickets are persisted in a database. When the bot comes back online it resumes exactly where it stopped.

Yes. The dashboard is fully responsive and works on phones and tablets. The bot itself responds to commands from any Discord client — mobile, desktop or web.

,me renders your personal activity card (rank, messages, voice time, top channels), ,u @user someone else’s. Server-wide: ,members (growth chart), ,messages (1d/7d/30d activity), ,voice, ,top and ,server. Tracking starts the moment the bot joins.

babes is a hosted service. Self-hosting is not officially supported or documented — but the hosted version is free for unlimited servers, with no message-count caps. If you need a self-hosted solution for compliance reasons, reach out on the support server.
